ASITA Association of Indonesian Travel Companies. Association of The Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) founded in 1971, aims to improve the image of Indonesian tourism and the role of its members as the main actors of national tourism with global competitiveness. ASITA itself has 31 Regional Leadership Counciles (DPD) spread throughout Indonesia and one of them is ASITA Pangandaran DPC and consists of 6 administrators in ASITA Pangandaran DPC.
Vision: Increasing the role of members as one of the main actors in national tourism, increasing income and developing business capacity with global competitiveness.
Mission: Improving the image of Pangandaran Tourism by providing satisfaction, a sense of security, certainty of protection and guarantees for the interests of service users and interested parties without compromising the interests of fellow members.
ASTINDO is the Indonesian Travel Agents Association, established on November 10, 1999, by twenty five Travel Agent leaders which also supported by the Minister of Culture and Tourism that was served by Mr. I Gde Ardika.
The establishment of ASTINDO was encouraged by the problems of ticketing business with Airlines, due to devaluation in 1998, where Travel Agent needs to be accommodated under the Directorate General of Air Transportation. Therefore the establishment of ASTINDO was declared in 1999 and inaugurated through the Minister of Transportation of The Republic Indonesia's Decree (SK) No. KP 263 of 2000.

ASTINDO member consists of Travel Agents from all over Indonesia from small to big agents which is currently spread in 16 (sixteen) provinces. The number of ASTINDO members is currently close to 800 members, including the Top 20 Travel Agent which controls nearly 70% of Outbound Tour and International Ticket sales of Indonesia. While the other 80 % of Tour Producer are also member of ASTINDO.

ASTINDO Travel Fair
To dynamize Travel Agent business to build up new market, ASTINDO organized ASTINDO Travel Fair held every early March in Jakarta since 2011 and has also been followed by East Java Chapter on 2015, Sumatera Selatan Chapter on 2016 and Bali Chapter on 2018.
ASTINDO Travel Fair is a Travel Agent product exhibition for customer or known as B to C, in cooperation with Airlines, Tour Operator, NTOs and other Travel related services. Therefore ASTINDO Travel Fair could always be offered a very attractive rate especially for Outbound Tour Package. That is why ASTINDO Travel Fair became a routine agenda which always be scheduled by customer to be visited and also by our partner to be followed.

Professional Certification Body
In order to control the professionalism of Human Resources of Travel Agents in Indonesia, ASTINDO established a Professional Certification Body calls LSP ATDA . It has been licensed by the Indonesia Professional Certification Authority calls BNSP in June 2010, therefore LSP ATDA has an authorized to issue certificates as a benchmark of professionalism of HR competencies employed by the Travel Agents.
The other purpose of establishment LSP ATDA is to represent industry to standardize that all Travel Agents applied the same assessment to their competences professional staff employed.

INTRODUCTION:
Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) is a conglomeration of MICE operators from various parts of the country who work together for the growth and betterment of the industry. NIMA is the only non profit network dedicated for the benefit of MICE operators in India and it doesn’t charge any membership fees from its members. Currently it has over 150 members out of which more than 30% are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

To Empower members with the desired Knowledge, useful Resources and vital Connect. NIMA is proud to have tourism boards and convention bureaus as its Destination Partners with whom it collaborate and contribute for mutual growth for the destination and the members.
CONVENTION & DESTINATION SHOWCASE:
NIMA's first annual convention "Catalonia - Beyond Barcelona" was held in Spain from 1st to 6th February, 2016. The convention was very widely covered in the Spanish, Catalan and Indian media.
NIMA’s first domestic destination showcase “Namaste VIZAG” was held from 9th to 12th April 2017 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh in association with Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Hotels & Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh and Travel Tours Association of Andhra.
NIMA member delegation went to Cyprus in association with Cyprus Convention Bureau (2014), to Florida, USA in association with Experience Kissimmee (2017) and to Taiwan with support from Meet Taiwan (2018).
Leading by example and setting the standards, all the delegates who participated in the convention and other destination showcase were owners or top level management of their respective companies. No Family Members or Guests were allowed. In fact as a policy matter, Guests or Family members are never permitted in any of NIMA’s official events.

NIMA work closely with all the leading organizers of Travel Trade Events in the country and actively represent Indian MICE industry during such events. NIMA had been instrumental in conducting various training sessions and knowledge workshops for the betterment of various strata of MICE industry.

Though NIMA is one of the youngest travel trade associations in India, it has earned to its credit certain firsts in India that has raised the bar for others to follow. It is the first and the only travel trade association that doesn’t charge any membership fees from its members. NIMA also innovated the concept of bringing both side of the coins together for serious business sessions and held its 1st Annual Brain Storming Session last year. The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is an organization born out of a union of the national associations of outbound travel agencies and inbound tour operators in 1979. It was founded to foster unity in the travel industry and to promote the welfare of its members and the traveling public. PTAA is a strong force that plays a vital role both in the national and international scenes.
PTAA with more than 500 members, is the most prestigious Association in the country widely recognized by international airlines, hotels, resorts, insurance, and cruise companies, works closely with government agencies, namely the Department of Tourism, Department of Foreign Affairs, Tourism Promotion Board, Bureau of Immigration, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, National Census and Statistics Office and various embassies and consulates.
Established in 1984 under the name “Travel Agents Association (TAA), the Association is a gathering of outbound tour operators and air ticket sales distribution agencies. The main objective is to promote and raise the standards of the aforementioned business of members. In 1991, the name of the TAA was changed to be the Thai Travel Agents Association or TTAA, which is still presently used. This reflects TTAA as being a travel association in Thailand and having a meaning that increasingly covers the tour business. Since its establishment, TTAA has had a role in promoting and creating stability for BSP agents and outbound tour businesses. This has been the major objective of the Association for its founding. Also TTAA has cooperated with other tourism organisations in promoting the Thai tourism industry to develop and have strength up to the present time.
